Q&A
A: The experience takes about 60–90 minutes. It begins with an introduction about tea. You will then enjoy seasonal Japanese sweets (Wagashi), observe a traditional tea making demonstration by a Tea Master, and finally, you will have the opportunity to whisk and enjoy your own bowl of premium matcha.
A: Absolutely! While traditional tea ceremonies are held sitting on tatami mats, we can provide small chairs or allow you to sit in a more comfortable position.
Please do not hesitate to let our host know.
A: Of course! Children of all ages are more than welcome. Since this is a completely private experience, you don't need to worry about other guests. Please feel free to relax and enjoy your time together as a family. We want both parents and children to have a wonderful, stress-free introduction to Japanese culture.
A: You don't need to bring anything, just yourself! We provide everything required for an authentic experience.
A: Most traditional Japanese sweets (Wagashi) are naturally vegan and gluten-free, as they are crafted from plant-based ingredients like rice flour and sweet bean paste. Additionally, our Matcha is 100% vegan and natural. If you have specific dietary requirements, please let us know in advance. We are happy to accommodate you!
Absolutely! Since this is a completely private experience, this time and space are yours alone. Feel free to capture as many photos and videos as you like. We are also more than happy to help you take photos or videos while you make your matcha, including group photos! We’d be thrilled if you followed us on Instagram and tagged us in your memories!
A: There is no strict dress code, casual clothes are perfectly fine! We want you to feel relaxed. In fact, a casual Kimono (Haori/Simple Kimono) is included in this experience for you to wear over your clothes. This means no matter what you are wearing, you will perfectly match the traditional atmosphere for your photos!
A: Don't worry! If you have any trouble finding us or are running late, please contact us immediately via Instagram DM or WhatsApp. We will send you a real-time location or guide you to our door.
